1. Describe a photograph you have yet to make but that you want to? If it were a piece of music what would it be?
Well, I started typing it out, but I don’t want to share it until I make it.. maybe that’s selfish, but that’s okay. It’d probably be some “post rock” song or something. I like subtlety. Yeaah.
2. When was the last time you made a photograph you felt? What was the strongest sensory stimulus that made you snap the shutter?
Ahh, last week… I was photographing stuff on the bay that was knocked out by the wind… it was one of those roadside signs completely destroyed and some guy drove up to me and asked me what happened… Mostly I just wished I photographed him. These double questions are killer. And I think that’s unexplainable for every person who takes photos.. it’s so intuitive.

3. What mediums do you photograph in and why do you photograph in them?
35mm and 120, depends on the mood, honestly I find 120 more convenient for me a majority of the time just because the length of each roll is exactly what I need. Whereas 35’s 24 to 36 frames takes me like 4 months to roll through. Hah, but they’re all nice really. One day I’d like to do 8x10 in color, that’d be pretty fun. And why, I suppose they fit what I photograph… friends and light. I’m still not where I wanna be with medium format though, 645 seems to be to much of a compromise sometimes. (wow, that was long, just don’t ask me about filmstocks… unless you want an essay)
4. What plans do you have for the future for yourself and your craft?
Hopefully I can be a real “photographer” and get paid do what I do anyways.
5. Explain yourself.

I’m bad with these questions, so I think the above is accurate.
6. One photographer that everyone should check out and why?
Jordan Strong’s stuff is super good at the moment. Right amount energy and a casualness with his subjects. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jordanstrongphoto/
